For a luxury duplex villa in Bangalore, the client requested a modern, open-concept staircase that would serve as a central architectural feature without blocking natural light.
We designed a bespoke staircase combining the industrial strength of steel with the elegance of glass.
We fabricated a central mono-stringer using heavy-duty mild steel, finished with a premium matte black powder coating for maximum durability and rust resistance.
To maintain an open, airy feel, we installed 12mm toughened and laminated clear glass railings, secured with minimalist stainless-steel standoffs.
Custom-cut solid teak wood treads were added to bring warmth to the industrial metal and glass aesthetic.
The staircase is now a stunning focal point of the villa. The frameless glass railings allow light to flow freely across the floors, perfectly blending modern engineering with luxury design.
